Who is Arcane Armory?
I’m your friendly, small-town gunsmith. I grew up in Michigan on a small farm, played baseball and football, became an Eagle Scout, and joined the United States Army in 2008 at 20 years old. I served as a parachute rigger at Fort Bragg, Kandahar Airfield, and Fort Lewis.
I left the Army after eight years from Fort Lewis, WA, and my girlfriend and I purchased small tugboat company. We worked on Puget Sound as a commercial diving and vessel salvage company. Things were mostly good, but it became clear in 2020 that the state of Washington could never be home for a couple of Midwest kids that just wanted life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
So, we ventured out to start over in western Kentucky, a place we have called home now for just over two years. I started Arcane Armory in the spring of 2024 as a local gunsmith in hopes of doing something I enjoy to earn a living. I enjoy hand checkering stocks and pistol grips, finishing stocks, knocking the rough edges off of a new action, cutting muzzle threads on the lathe, and dialing in custom ammunition. The new Arcane Armory website is an extension of that endeavor.
While Arcane Armory is, of course, a for-profit business, my goals stretch far beyond simply earing a living. I understand that if one does not have a right to self-defense, one has no rights at all. I know, and you know, that the police are not Superman, and cannot simply dash between our families and those that may threaten their safety. It is my goal to ensure that you have access to the best tools to defend yourself and your family at the fairest price possible.
This company is not owned by some mega-conglomerate, investment company, anyone with “holdings” or “brands” in the name. When you call, I answer the phone. I handle your order and answer your questions. I will hear your feedback and steer this company accordingly.
