Later dubbed CruCarta, this distinctive pairing of old-school, high-performance materials became an instant classic. To ensure Spyderco could meet customer demand when Spyderco applied the CruCarta treatment to other models, Spyderco decided to make them full-line products, not limited editions. Spyderco began with the Para Military 2 and are now proud to add four more USA-made models to this elite family. All feature skeletonized full stainless steel liners, slim brown canvas Micarta scales, and CPM CRU-WEAR tool steel blades that offer an outstanding balance of edge retention and toughness. The scales of all these knives are sanded smooth but left unpolished, so they will naturally patina with age and handling to develop their own unique character.
